A fanlisting is a place for all fans of a particular subject to come together and build a listing of people from around the world. In this case it's a fanlisting for the relationship between Gai-sensei and Rock Lee. This fanlisting was originally owned by Toshi who handed it over to me. This fanlisting re-opened September 19, 2004.

Maito Gai and Rock Lee. Their relationship is one of my most favorite from Naruto. It's really sweet and funny when they interact. At first I thought they were kind of weird but as the story went on I began to love their relationship. It was after the 3rd exam preliminaries of the Chuunin exam when we learned more about Lee. In the prelimins Lee was seriously injured in his fight with Gaara and it was feared that he couldn't be a ninja anymore. The news devasted both student and teacher. The only way he could continue being a ninja is by having surgery which could either help him or ruin is career. It was a tough decision for Lee but with the support of Gai he went through the surgery. As Lee was making his decision he remembered when he was a rookie who couldn't do ninjustu or genjustu. It was Gai who taught him taijutsu and even a forbidden jutsu. Gai's teachings, emphasis on hard work, and overall influence helped made Lee the great nin and person he is to this day.

Title. That's what they call themselves. I didn't use azure even though that's how it was translated. It could've been either azure or green but I decided Green Beasts made more sense.
